At High Desert Medical College, our Dental Assisting program is designed to prepare students to enter the healthcare industry. HDMC’s 34-week program provides students with intensive training emphasizing dental practice office management, dental assistant procedures, chair side assisting, dental anatomy, radiography and Imaging. Students in the Dental Assisting program learn from professional instructors, and receive real-world on-the-job experience through an Externship.
In the Dental Assisting program you will learn how to:

- Take dental impressions

The Dental Assisting program at HDMC Temecula prepares students for immediate entry-level positions following graduation. Graduates of HDMC’s program receive a Dental Assisting diploma and an X-Ray certification, and are prepared to test for relevant industry certifications, such as through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).
